DAMM adds to MENA sales team

DAMM has appointed Alaa Allam as its new regional sales manager for the Middle East and North Africa.
According to the company, Allam has worked in radio and telecommunications for more than 35 years. His most recent position was as sales manager at Lambda Electronics, while also having previously worked for Telelink Gulf Ltd and Kenwood Electronics. He is based in Cairo.
He has a B.Sc. in engineering, with a particular expertise in electronics, telecommunications and electro-physics.
Speaking of the appointment, DAMM CEO Jens Thostrup said: “We see the hiring of Alaa Allam as a big value addition to DAMM’s sales strategy. Apart from the wealth of experience he brings with him, he also brings us closer to the MENA market and ensures closer collaboration with - and support for - our partners in the region.”
