Orion Labs has announced its first web-based push-to-talk dispatch console.

According to the company, the solution enables users to connect with those in the field without having to install software or “other limitations of traditional desktop tools.”

The product is designed to work with any browser, and allows dispatchers to talk via PTT, send single recipient or group messages, and monitor locations. Compatible devices in the field include smart phones, tablets, wearables as well as two-way radio.

Speaking of the device Orion, CEO and co-founder Jesse Robbins said: “Orion Dispatch Console enables a whole new set of workers to participate in real-time communication.

“Enterprises running large field service teams or transportation fleets welcome the flexibility and ease of a web-based solution for dispatching their frontline workforce.”
