Registration opens for CCW 2020 in Spain

10/04/2020

TCCA is pleased to announce the opening of registration for Critical Communications World (CCW) 2020, which will take place at the Feria de Madrid - IFEMA - from 3-5 November.

Visitors to CCW 2020 will be able to experience a cutting-edge conference programme with presentations from some of the sector’s key thought leaders. Opening the event on 3 November will be eight expert-led masterclasses designed to give attendees a thorough and detailed knowledge of the most relevant topics and issues faced by the critical communications sector.

The CCW exhibition is set to host exhibitors from across the critical communications ecosystem and deliver high-level networking opportunities across the event’s three days. There are also opportunities to forge new relationships at the International Critical Communications Awards gala evening, which will take place at the prestigious Casino de Madrid on 4 November.

Speaking of his expectations for Critical Communications World 2020, TCCA chief executive Tony Gray said: “After last year’s hugely successful event in Kuala Lumpur, CCW is once again coming back to the heart of Europe for 2020. The southern European critical communications market is one of the most vibrant in the world, something which will be reflected in both the conference and on the exhibition floor across the three days.”

He continued: “This is an incredibly vital time for the sector, with a keen interest in transformative new solutions now being demonstrated across the globe. These include mission-critical broadband implementations, AI, drones, Safe/Smart Cities, and the ongoing strength and evolution of TETRA – the North American market alone is anticipated to increase by 15 per cent within the next three years. All these developments will be represented at CCW2020, and we look forward to delivering this world-class event in November.”

Critical Communications World 2020 will take place between 3-5 November at the IFEMA in Madrid, Spain. Learn more about the event here and more about the ICCAs here.

About TCCA

TCCA represents organisations from around the world, bringing together all those with an interest in the provision of wireless communications in a mission-critical or business-critical environment. They believe in the principle of open and competitive markets worldwide through the use of common standards and harmonised spectrum.

TCCA was originally established in December 1994 (known then as the TETRA MoU Association) to create a forum to act on behalf of all parties interested in TETRA technology, representing users, manufacturers, application providers, integrators, operators, test houses and telecom agencies.

TCCA continues to support and promote the ongoing development and use of TETRA technology and is driving industry synergy in the development of future mobile broadband capability for the users and providers of critical communications. TCCA works closely with the organisations responsible for the development of standards relating to critical mobile communications. These include ETSI and 3GPP who develop and maintain standards for public mobile networks.
