Formed in January of this year, the aforementioned organisation is responsible for “development initiatives” in the realms of health, public transport, infrastructure and industry in the Värmland region. 
 
The new agreement will see the company supply Sepura SC21 hand-portable radios and SRG3900 mobile radios for use in vehicles, as well as a range of other applications being rolled-out later this year. Region Värmland is part of Rakel, which is the Swedish emergency services TETRA network.
 
Speaking of the agreement, Gary Maughan, region director for Northern Europe at Sepura said: “The  SC21 has proven to be very popular amongst users looking to deploy a small but powerful TETRA device onto their network.
 
“The additional capability to deploy applications built around users’ work practices means that these radios will continue to provide advanced communication to Värmland users for many years."
