Tait joins critical comms industry alliance

Tait Communications has become a member of the L3Harris Technologies Mission Critical Alliance (MCA).

The alliance is a consortium of public safety technology providers, all of whom hold the “common goal of advancing the capabilities, compatibility and security of mission-critical solutions.” Technology offered by the providers will be “complimentary” to L3Harris core network and radio platforms.

According to a spokesperson for Tait, alliance members: ”Explore technology synergies, furthering the development of interoperable communications in a connected Internet of Things environment.”

Speaking of the move, Yoram Benit, Tait Communications' chief operating officer said: "Customers are demanding greater certainty that the core systems and products they are investing in are capable of integrating with other information technologies at levels which meet mission-critical performance and reliability standards. Providing that ‘whole-solution comfort’ is central to how we work at Tait Communications, so we are very pleased to join the L3Harris alliance."

Other initial members include: Zetron, Adashi Systems LLC, Centerity Systems, Cradlepoint, Drakontas, LLC, Exacom, GE Power, MCM Technology, LLC, Realwear, Samsung Electronics America, TRX Systems, Vintra, Zetron.
